Simple Guidlines When Looking For a Muzzle
It is very important to use dog muzzles correctly so that you do not injure your dog.

Please be aware of the following:

· A dog’s snout is extremely sensitive and delicate and MUST NOT be clamped shut.
· Any snug-fitting muzzle or nylon muzzle restricts a dog’s ability to pant. This interferes with a dog’s natural cooling system and cause overheating (heat stroke).

If you intend to muzzle your dog for any period of time, the best muzzle to obtain is a basket muzzle for the following reasons:

· This is the only muzzle that will allow a dog to breathe freely.
· This is the only muzzle that will allow a dog to pant and drink.
· This is the only muzzle that should be worn while walking, playing or running without interfering with a dog’s ability to pant.
